How To Program Panasonic Viera Remote Control Remote

Hi oldwoodboats, there is a way to search for codes with your remote. I'm assuming you actually have the Philips remote, which is the latest model we use, because the older Motorola remote only has about 4 codes for panasonic tv's. Here is how you search for a code with your remote control:1) Power on the TV. 2) Press and hold TV device key. While holding down the TV key, press OK.

3) Release both keys. The device keys will blink twice. 4) Press 9-2-2. 5) Point the remote at the device and press the PLAY button. Every time you press FF, the remote sends a new power-off command to the TV. Keep pressing FF until the TV powers off. You can press REW to go back to the previous code.

7) When the device turns off, press OK to store this code. (Note: if you reach the end of the code list the TV button will blink twice and return to normal operation. You can also hit Exit to cancel the device code search.)If you do still have the Motorola remote, take a look at this site. It has all the remote controls we've ever used.

VIERA Link™ is a new name for EZ Sync™. It allows intelligent operation of up to four AV devices connected to your television using only the remote control. Simply connect the devices together using HDMI cables and you’re ready to go.Before using the VIERA Link function, a 'link' must be established with the connected devices. Turn each device on and then switch the TV on. Set the TV input mode to HDMI and make sure that the image is displayed correctly. VIERA Link will remember the devices even after they are turned off.VIERA Link organizes the connected devices in 4 groups:- DVD recorder belongs to 'RECORDER'- Blu-ray player or DVD player belong to 'PLAYER'- HD camcorder belongs to 'CAMCORDER'- DVD home theatre and receiver belong to 'HOME THEATER'Only one product from each group can be operated by VIERA Link.

For example, if a Blu-ray player and a DVD player are connected to the TV's HDMI1 and HDMI2 inputs, VIERA Link can only recognize the one that the HDMI input was last selected for. Please refer back to your TV operating manual for more details.
