It worked, the vendor fixed the issue, and didn't see the VM icon in the tray until he was closing down the remote session.Usually the best way to go about handling vendors that 'don't support' ESX environments.Might be worth double-checking the vNIC and NIC settings on the server/host and make sure there isn't something simple causing connection issues. ATSMorgan wrote:Anybody have trouble running peachtree within esxi? I actually don't have trouble running Peachtree virtualized, it's actually accessing from the virtualized terminal server.
Physical machines connect fine. I recently switched from running Citrix XenServer to esxi.
Everything ran fine under Xenserver, now it throws out some weird error about licensing. We're totally within our licensing options, fyi. Peachtree won't touch it since it's virtualized.Probably need the exact error to help. Are you able to make a network connection? ATSMorgan wrote:'You cannot use peachtree right now because the serial number(s) you have. Are already in use by the maximum number of computers.
If you feel you have reached this message in error, wait 1 minut and then try logging on again'What's the maximum number of connections allowed? How do you measure how many are consumed and from where?Sometimes a system will see that a serial number used by one computer is now coming from another and will protect itself by locking out. Did you P2V this device?
Or are you supposed to give a different serial number to each client but you gave this one out twice? We want to do two troublesome things on PeachTree 2012.1) Setup PeachTree 2012 on VM (VMWare)We have no physical server now and all servers are virtualized. Could you help advise if there is any tricky technique to setup PeachTree 2012 in VM?2) Run PeachTree 2012 through Citrix XenAppBefore, we think that if Peach tree 2012 support Terminal Service in 2003 & 2008, it should be ok in Citrix XenApp. However, I have search some post in Citrix Forum and it seems it is not easy to run PeachTree in XenApp.
Could anyone share some experience on it?Ivan. I too am having issues with Peachtree on a Server 2008R2 RDS configuration on top of ESXi 5.1. For some reason the Pervasive Work-group Engine wants to stop itself randomly and not allow Peachtree to work. I have disabled all 3rd party services, as instructed by support, minus the VM Tools service as I need this one. Is there conflict there?I am truly at a loss right now and could really use some help with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are on Sage 50 Quantum 2014 with Pervasive 11.3.

Is there conflict there?I am truly at a loss right now and could really use some help with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are on Sage 50 Quantum 2014 with Pervasive 11.3.I never got it to work from virtual server to virtual client, even after upgrading versions. I ended up installing peachtree on the virtual server.
